Wally and more than 100 students from Deer Park, Pasadena and Sheldon Independent School Districts and two dozen companies and organizations came to the LyondellBasell Center for Petrochemical, Energy and Technology on Wednesday, March 26 to learn about career opportunities and the value of chemistry in the second Deer Park Chamber of Commerce Chemistry Day. Many EHCMA member companies participated in the student expo, offering interactive displays to help young people learn about important petrochemical industry jobs while executives from three EHCMA companies participated in the luncheon panel to speak about the future of the petrochemical industry. The event is hosted by Deer Park Chamber of Commerce
He was also spotted at the Deer Park Library reading up on his safety basics.
