Soccer Fields Type B Development

Project Summary

Construction on the Deer Park Soccer Complex, located at 901 East Blvd. began in January 2018 and was completed in summer 2019. A ribbon-cutting was held on August 20, 2019.  The project was funded with $4 million from Type B sales tax. The City of Deer Park selected Halff Associates as the architect and Tandem Services, LLC as the general contractor.

The new Deer Park Soccer Complex is completed and a ribbon cutting was held on August 20, 2019.

The complex boasts the following amenities:

  • 4 lighted fields
  • 2 sod fields and 4 hydromulch fields
  • a concession area and restrooms 
  • storage and meeting areas
  • picnic tables
  • trashcans

In the near future, we will be adding a decomposed granite trail from the concession to the fields on the east side.
