Public computers are available to patrons of Deer Park Public Library. There are six computers in the adult area, 12 in the tech lab, three in the teen area, and three in the children's area. In addition, there are seven computers reserved for searching the library catalog.
A library card is required to log in to a computer. Visitors over the age of 18 may request a guest pass for computer access at the Help Desk. Users must agree to the library's acceptable use guidelines before using a computer.
Self-service printing from computers is available only for patrons with a library card. Visitors using a guest pass do not have printing capabilities.
The library also has laptop computers available for check out to use in the library.
The City of Deer Park offers wireless connectivity to patrons of Deer Park Public Library. The network name is DPPL_Public.
To guard against inappropriate content within the library, wireless computers connected to the network pass through the city's content filter.
