Ella & Friends Dog Park Renovation

Closed for Renovation – March 24, 2025
As of March 24, 2025, Ella & Friends Dog Park is officially closed for renovations as we begin the exciting transformation of this beloved community space.

We've included details about the improvements underway, including a conceptual site drawing and a brief walkthrough video that showcases the approved design from Deer Park City Council.

While the new park will remain in the same general location, the site will be slightly shifted to enhance stormwater drainage. This change ensures the long-term protection and success of all elements included in the overall redevelopment.

What’s Coming to the New Dog Park

We’re creating a space designed with both dogs and their humans in mind. Features of the reimagined Ella & Friends Dog Park include:

• Separate play areas for large and small dogs

• Plenty of shade, including new trees and large/small breezeway pavilions

• Water stations for drinking and a separate dog bathing station

• A mix of natural sod and turf throughout the park

• Convenient on-site restrooms

• Dog-friendly amenities such as a splash pad and agility stations

We’re thrilled to bring this upgraded facility to life and look forward to many years of tail-wagging fun for the Deer Park community and their four-legged companions.
