The Friends of Deer Park Public Library will hold their Spring Book Sale Wednesday - Saturday, March 27 to March 30, 2019, during normal library business hours. Come shop a wide array of adult fiction and non-fiction books, paperbacks, magazines, as well as children and YA titles. Members of the Friends of the Library are invited to attend the Preview Sale held Tuesday, March 26th from 5-9 PM. Annual membership dues in the Friends of the Library begin at $5.00 a year for individuals, $10.00 for families, and $2.00 for senior citizens.
The Friends of the Library support programs for children, teens, and adults and provide prizes for the Summer Reading Programs. Following the 2012 expansion, the Friends purchased and dedicated “The Reading Tree” for children of all ages to enjoy. In 2015, the Friends installed a built-in display case to commemorate the Library’s 50th anniversary.
