Attention, Deer Park Public Library patrons! If you’re planning to come to the library to check out items for the Christmas/New Year’s break, please be advised that the facility will be closed from January 1-5, 2019 for a Library refresh.
According to Library Director Rebecca Pool, the library will be open immediately after the Christmas holiday – from December 26-29 and on December 31 – during regular business hours. The next day, January 1, the library will close for New Year’s Day and the refresh. The Library will re-open on Monday, January 7.
“If you’ve got a special book or TV series that you’re hoping to borrow from the library over the winter break, make sure to plan accordingly as we will be closed for a library refresh from January 1-5, 2019,” she said. “With the exception of the days we are closed in observance of the Christmas holiday – December 22 through 25 – we will be open for the rest of the month of December and hope to see many of our patrons during that time.
“Patrons are also encouraged to visit the library’s webpage on www.deerparktx.gov to take advantage of our many digital services.”
The library’s regular business hours are Monday and Wednesday from 10AM-6PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 10AM-9PM and Friday and Saturday from 10AM-5PM. The library is closed on Sundays.
