Deer Park Public Library’s free program, the Industrial Intelligence Series, is a series to inform programs related to the industrial field. Patti Bell, Program Manager for Dream It. Do It. Southeast Texas, will discuss the educational path to skilled jobs in the petrochemical industry. The presentation on Petrochemical Jobs, will begin at 6:30 PM on Tuesday, February 27 in the library’s meeting room.
In the coming months, we will be collaborating with experts to inform patrons on subjects relevant to industrial work; we will also be making available NCCER guides on multiple topics for study in the library only. The materials were purchased with grant funds. No registration is required.
This project is made possible by a grant from the U.S. Institute of Museum and Library Services to the Texas State Library and Archives Commission under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act. (2018)
