Are you looking for something EGG-xtraspecial to do in April? We have EGG-actly what you are looking for! On April 8th, Deer Park Parks and Recreation will hold the annual Easter EGG-stravaganza! Improvements in Dow Park have created the need for a venue change. This years event will be held at Carpenter Elementary located at 5002 W. Pasadena Blvd in Deer Park. We will be EGG-staticly hunting eggs between Bonnette Jr. High and Carpenter Elementary. Festivities will kick off at 9 am with attractions like rubber ducky races, carrot pull and sidewalk chalk contests! Indoors we will be EGG-statically holding Bunny Bingo! At 11:00 am it's READY-SET-GO time when we release the EGG-cited children to hunt their Easter Eggs! This is going to be a great day to get some EGG-cersize! The highlight of the Easter EGG-stravaganza is the Easter Egg Hunt with over 15,000 toy or candy filled eggs. Be sure to crack them open before leaving as some have a certificate redeemable for a prize. One prize per child please! Ages 6 months- 9 years old. Please be aware there is no guarantee every child will get a prize.

Event is from 9 a.m.-12:30 pm
Egg Hunt will start at 11:00 a.m.
