City Council recently conducted a joint session with the Planning and Zoning Commission and Master Plan Steering Committee to review proposed changes to the City’s zoning ordinance.
These groups have spent the past several months reviewing changes to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Subdivision Ordinance and Zoning Ordinance.
Subsequently, during their December 5 meeting, the Planning and Zoning Commission called for a preliminary public hearing on January 9, 2017 to discuss amendments to the zoning ordinance.
Thereafter, City Council is expected to call a joint public hearing with the Planning and Zoning Commission on February 21, 2017, after which three readings of the ordinance amending the zoning regulations will be scheduled.
