The event will begin on Saturday, December 12, at 2:30 p.m. in the library’s meeting room with the author presentation, and the Deer Park High School Orchestra performance will start at 3:30 p.m.
“We are pleased to announce the DPHS Orchestra will perform Christmas music at the Deer Park Public Library’s Winter Open House,” said Rebecca Pool, Library Director. “Prior to the orchestra’s performance, local author Linda C. Yeates will present a copy of her book Nola Rain to be included in the Library’s fiction collection.
“Join us for an afternoon of good cheer and good music!”
Refreshments for the event will be provided by the Friends of the Deer Park Public Library. No registration is required and all are welcome to attend. There is no admission fee. The library is located at 3009 Center St., Deer Park, TX 77536.
