Welcome back to the Roscoe Review were we encourage you to Live & Play with the Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department. It is exciting times for the Parks and Recreation Department as Spring is in the air. This Friday, Another Man’s Treasure City Wide Garage Sale will open for everyone to enjoy. This is a great place to find a bargain, and no matter the weather the sale will go on. Everything is indoors at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center. We are still looking for summer instructors so if you are interested please contact Rene McBride. Over at Art Park Player’s Boeing, Boeing is in it’s second weekend, Junior Art Park Players are in the middle of BBQ Fund-raiser, and they are looking for people to take place in the Potluck Playfest. We have multiple classes and leagues that are getting ready to start up. Adult Softball, Adult Flag Football, and Co-Rec Volleyball to name a few of them. New sessions of Yoga, Self Defense for Women and Fencing are just around the corner as well. At the Maxwell Center they are preparing for an exciting trip to Pigeon Forge and the Smokey Mountains.
