Art Park Players will hold auditions for their upcoming production of Big Fish on Tuesday, August 5th at 7:00 p.m. The musical auditions will take place at the City of Deer Park’s Theatre/Court Building located at 1302 Center Street, Deer Park, Texas 77536. All actors auditioning should come prepared with a song, resume’ and head shot. You will be given a reading and taught a dance audition. The production calls for actors/dancers from ages youth to Senior. adult.
Art Park Players will be the first Texas Premier Community theatre to produce Big Fish in the state of Texas which will run for 8 performances beginning October 10th-25th. Big Fish centers on Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives life to its fullest . . . and then some! Edward’s incredible, larger-than-life stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart, humor and spectacular stagecraft, Big Fish is an extraordinary new Broadway musical that reminds us why we love going to the theatre – for an experience that’s richer, funnier and BIGGER than life itself.
