Center Street traffic will be reduced to single lane traffic for both north and southbound traffic and 13th Street traffic will also be reduced to single lane traffic for both east and westbound traffic at the intersection. The partial road closure will begin at 6pm Friday, March 21nd. Weather permitting all lanes of traffic should reopen around 7am Monday, March 24th.
Traffic delay should be expected. If possible please plan your routes around town by using East Blvd., Georgia Avenue, X Street, etc. to avoid the delays.
Since this is opening weekend for baseball it needs to also be noted that the far east portion of the parking lot at the Jimmy Burke Activity Center (used for parking during baseball games) will be used to store the construction equipment and will therefore not be open to the public.
