Driver advisory per the Deer Park Public Works Department:
Beginning Monday, August 24 at 7AM, drivers are advised of a westbound lane closure on E. Lambuth Lane near Dabbs Elementary School between Center Street and Jefferson Avenue. The lane closure is necessary for the construction of the Heritage Addition Drainage Improvement Project and will continue through the end of September.
While the portion of the roadway is closed, all driveways to Dabbs Elementary will be accessible. However, traffic coming from Jefferson Avenue will not have the ability to turn left onto Lambuth Lane and will be detoured to Temperance Lane. Drivers are encouraged to allow extra time for this detour and to demonstrate caution within the area of construction.
