Learn how to make origami and kirigami from Nina Shimaguchi, Japanese Outreach Initiative Coordinator from the Asia Society Houston. She will begin with a brief presentation about Japan and paper cutting and folding crafts at 4 p.m. on Thursday, February 25 at the Deer Park Public Library, and then she will help you make your own kirigami or origami project.
The Japanese Outreach Initiative is a joint initiative of the Japan Foundation Center for Global Partnership and Laurasian Institution at the Asia Society Houston through summer 2020, when the Olympics begin in Japan.
