The City of Deer Park Tree Lighting Spectacular at Patrick's Cabin Christmas Town will be held on November 17, 2022. The event begins at 5:30 PM and ends at 8 PM. This event will feature holiday activities for the whole family! Experience Deer Park as our first settlers tell the story of how we came to be "The Birthplace of Texas." Enjoy Christmas festivities which include, hayrides, tours of the historic Patrick's Cabin and sip apple cider at the Simeon West Campfire.  Campfire stories will include "Twas the Night Before Christmas" while Christmas carols ring in the background. 

Families will have the opportunity to decorate Christmas ornaments at the Santa's Workshop Craft Station, eat cookies from Mrs. Clauses' Bake Shoppe, visit the North Pole Post Office to mail a letter to Santa and pet animals at the Bethlehem Live Nativity. 

In addition to all of the wonderful Christmas activities, live entertainment, shopping and other activities will surround our Christmas Tree Lighting that will take place at 6 PM. 

This event is FREE to attend. Be sure to bring cash to enjoy concessions and shop till you drop at the General Store and Kris Kringle's Market Place. 

This event is in partnership of the City of Deer Park, Deer Park Parks and Recreation Department, Art Park Players, Deer Park Historical Committee and the Visit Deer Park Tourism division.
