November 21, 2018, 9:30 AM - November 26, 2018, 9:30 PM
Due to Thanksgiving Holiday’s, City Services will be closed on November 22nd and 23rd. No curbside trash collection will take place on these two days.
If your trash pickup schedule is Monday and Thursday’s your next scheduled pickup day will be Monday the 26th. If you are on the Tuesday – Friday schedule your next scheduled trash collection will be on Tuesday the 27th. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we appreciate your understanding that our crews will be enjoying a nice holiday weekend with their families.
WHAT DO I DO ABOUT MY HOLIDAY TRASH? A good idea is to freeze turkey carcasses until your next trash collection day. Freeze any discarded food to prevent your trash from smelling. Another good tip is rinse everything you place in your trash bag, even paper plates, this will help with minimizing any unpleasant odors.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all, from your Public Works Dept.
