    The Friends of the Deer Park Public Library invites everyone out to its' annual Spring Book Sale. Find a wide collection of used books and magazines to choose from. The Friends Book Sale will run from Wednesday March 29th through Saturday April 1st during regular business hours.

  2. Toddler Storytime

    March 30, 2017, 10:15 AM - 10:45 AM @ Deer Park Public Library

    Toddler Storytime is presented on Thursdays at 10:15 AM. Recommended for children up to 3 1/2 years old. Stories and activities during the 20-30 minute session are designed to encourage a love for books and language, increase attention span and develop basic social skills. Parents/Caregivers are required to stay with the toddler and encourage them to participate in the program.

    Preschool Storytime incorporates books, fingerplays, songs, and activities to promote interest in reading and lifelong learning. In these sessions, children listen to stories and participate in group activities.

    Do you need help with Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel? Are you struggling with Windows 7? Come to the Open Lab session at the Deer Park Public Library! Our reference librarians will be available for one-on-one assistance. Feel free to bring in your laptop from home. We can also provide some help with document formatting and electronic resources. Come to us with your questions and we will help you learn! No registration required for this class!

  1. Tiny Tykes Soccer

    March 20, 2017 - April 24, 2017 @ Earl Dunn Gym & Dow Park Pavilion (depending on which time you sign up)

    Tiny Tykes Soccer is a new and exciting program that teaches basic soccer skills while developing strength, balance, coordination, listening skills and team work for children aged 2-4. Our professional, licensed British coaches will ensure your child has a positive soccer experience. The Tiny Tykes curriculum has been devised by soccer experts, child development professionals and experienced coaches. This is a 6-week long camp, 45 minute classes on Mondays!
