    Learn the basics of programming (in most any language) and begin creating your own programs. We will use Python, a popular general purpose programming language used in many fields, from software and web development to graphics and robotics to data analysis.     If you know of someone who would like to learn to speak English as a second language, they may be interested in a free online class at the Deer Park Public Library. The class meets Tuesdays at 10 a.m. in an online meeting.   6. Storytime - Facebook Live

    Storytime will alternate between outdoor in person sessions and live virtual sessions on Facebook. Outdoor sessions will be held in the field behind the library. In case of bad weather, Storytime will be broadcast Live on Facebook. Storytime is designed to encourage a love for books and language and incorporates books, fingerplays, and songs to promote interest in reading and lifelong learning.
