Liquor License

The City of Deer Park consists of both wet and dry areas with provisions established by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for the sale of alcoholic beverages.

To apply for a liquor license in Deer Park you should contract with a registered licensing agency to prepare an application as established by the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (TABC). The licensing agency will submit your application for approval.

Mobile Food Service Units

A mobile food service unit cannot operate in Deer Park without a permit. A process has been established that allows a business or individual to secure a permit to operate a mobile food service unit through the City Secretary’s department.

Residential Solicitation

It is unlawful for a business or individual to do door-to-door solicitation in the City of Deer Park without first obtaining a permit. A process has been established that allows a business or individual to secure a permit to distribute information pertinent to the operation of their business endeavor through the City Secretary’s department.

 Roadside Solicitation

It is unlawful for any person or organization to conduct roadside solicitation in the City of Deer Park without having first obtained a license. A process has been established that allows a person or organization to obtain a license through the City Secretary’s department. Once a license has been obtained, roadside solicitation may not be conducted along or within City rights-of-way.

Taxi License

A taxi business cannot be operated in Deer Park without a license. All taxi companies must be approved by the City Council, and all taxi cab operators must be employed by a licensed taxi cab business licensed with the City of Deer Park, and licensed individually.

To apply for a taxi license, complete the Driver’s Taxi License Application or the Company Taxi License Application.

Tow Truck License

All tow truck companies wishing to conduct a non consent towing business within the City of Deer Park must meet all state license requirements for a tow truck company, operator’s license, and vehicle storage facility license before being accepted to the city’s rotation list for the operation of a tow truck business within the City of Deer Park.
