SPOTLIGHT: Reindeer Park

Mark your calendars for the Parks and Recreation Department's Reindeer Park on Saturday, December 7! There will be something for everyone at this fun-filled one day event. Join us to kick off the holiday season at the biggest event in the area! Reindeer Park is the perfect lead into everyone's most favorite time of the year. 

This year's all inclusive wristband will include s'mores, a band, carnival rides at Frosty's Playland, arts and crafts, and SNOW!  

Don't forget to get your picture with Santa!

Pre-purchase your Reindeer Park Wristband from November 25 through December 6 at the Deer Park Community Center Front Office. Pre-purchased wristbands are $10 per person. You can also purchase your wristbands at the event for $15 per person.

SPOTLIGHT: Holiday Storytime

Join the Deer Park Public Library for a very special holiday storytime on December 19 at 10:15AM. Refreshments will be provided, and a special visitor is also going to join us. Don't forget your cameras!

Storytime programs incorporate books, finger plays, songs, and activities to promote interest in reading and lifelong learning.

Looking for something to do this weekend? Check out the special exhibit at the San Jacinto Monument – “Big Energy: A Texas Tale of People Powering Progress.” Representing a special partnership between Shell Deer Park, the San Jacinto Museum of History, and the City of Deer Park, this exhibit gives children a chance to interact with history! The exhibit represents a unique and insightful walk through the past, present, and future of Shell and the city it calls home. Don't forget to take a selfie with the giant shoe!
